It was a real struggle to get the colors from the inspiration board, and it included a tan/brown, which really didn't feel good to me either. Orange and brown, eh? Well, I finished it, added some Wink of Stella and sequins, and framed it with Calypso Coral and Cool Caribbean. It's not my favorite card, but I think they will like it for the colors and because I handmade it for them (her mom is a scrapbooker and is so sweet). For the inside, I used 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps and then wrote a note above it. They are a really sweet couple.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a great week ahead! Hugs, all! xoxo

Oh, Cheryl, I love these colors. Coral is one of my favorite colors and the Cool Caribbean looks fabulous with it. I think the couple will treasure this card for years to come. Beautifully colored, as usual.

What a stunning card this is Cheryl! My goodness, you work well in difficult situations. If it were me trying to use a color I do not like- well, I probably would not be able to post the end result. Also, I do love orange so my cake image would probably turn out looking like a pumpkin. You found the perfect balance of using this gorgeous blue and highlighting it with coral and the end result is just stunning! I love this scalloped frame you used which is so perfect for a wedding card. I know this couple will truly appreciate you making them such a gorgeous piece of art for their wedding. I so enjoyed reading the journey of you making this wonderful card Cheryl. ~Karen.
