Aww, Lee, did you HAVE to have glitter? I have little iridescent flecks ALL OVER! But it was a fun technique anyway. I may have to use the sanding on paper to create a soft suede leather look sometime...without the glitter!
I did use wink of stella on the snow areas.
My Heat & stick was all clumped together. I managed to break up enough for this card, but I think I'll dump it all out between some wax paper and use the rolling pin to break it up. It worked for this card.

What a lovely old-time Christmas image.
You can get a great suede look with a lot of cardstock by heavily distressing it...several times through a crimper in different directions, or pulling it over the corner of your desk, and then carefully pulling two layers apart.

My heat and Stick was all clumpy, too! Your managed to get it to work and in a beautiful way! I love that stamped scene as your foreground! Beautiful card!
