This just-for-fun card is why the bird I used for my MIX card yesterday was sitting on my desk. It's been a crazy week and I've been working on this since Thursday.
Image stamped on watercolour paper, embossed with clear EP and coloured with Inktense pencils. I than added a wash of water to the background and coloured it with watercolours.
The frame was made following the tutorial HERE, and is popped up on foam over the owl panel.
The base is some old Kaisercraft DP with a stitched border and sponging. I added a little die-cut toadstool and an autumn leaf that was on my desk, and finished it off with a sentiment banner.

You sure are making it difficult for me to keep my Favs of the Week list a respectable size LOL. Everything about this is terrific. I had forgotten how sweet that little owl can look. Your background dp looks so effective with all the ink edging, and the faux wood frame is the icing on the cake. Thanks for including the link...I never fail to learn something new from your Sabrina. Thank you for everything you do and share here at SCS my friend.
