Thanks to some termites I had some unexpected free time to make this card. We had a termite invasion at my office today and had to leave early. Going to the dentist is bad enough for most people, but add bugs dropping from the ceiling and you have the ingredients for a horror movie. I used the technique from today's MIX challenge and added stickler and liquid pearls for my other mediums. For the FF17hbrown challenge I made a fall card with no white. TFL, Francie

Oh, Francie, what a bright and beautiful fall card! The background created with Yupo and alcohol inks is remarkable, and the die cut leaves are perfect! Francie, your artwork is always so bright and beautiful!! Love it!!

Oh wow, how did you manage to get such concentrated spots of colour, Francie! Mine just dissipated all over the place each time I dropped them into the water. I was hoping for something like this, but after four attempts I gave up - and one isn't even usable. I'm not a fan of termites or ants in any shape or form - but I am so glad they gave you an early day and time to create .

LIke Sabrina, my alcohol inks seemed to spread like wildfire in the water so I'm guessing maybe the difference in your brilliant colors is the YUPO paper ( I just used plain white cardstock . . .) What color inks did you drop in because they are breath-taking for a fall colored card!
