This card is a second card using today's Color Challenge Colors and a card for the Falliday Fest Challenges - Textures of Fall. I saw something like this on Pinterest tonight. I still struggle with watercolor. I was tryng to create a wash for the background, but it was hard to do with the embossed trees. Oh well, experimentation is good. I can keep trying. I used reinkers with this week's Challenge colors and let them blend together more or less. I added leaves to cover areas that did not look so good.

We can be so hard on ourselves. I love your background just as is. And I thought the leaves were intentional. Thank goodness for little flaws we see that inspire us to push to solve them and add just the right goodness to our creations that we wouldn't normally have thought of. I love your beautiful creation.

I LOVE the background and those trees! Really nice textured elements with the ribbon and leaves and button. Super fun card with a really great feel to it.

This is the day the Lord has made, let us REJOICE and be GLAD in it!
You are so creative in your approach to areas that don't please your artistic eye. Places to use embellishments! Personally I love the water color wash. Both bright and soft.
