The Iced Leather technique may not be the focal point here but it's what is framing the vintage Elvis trading card. I sanded a bluish patterned Kleenex box scrap, added the Versamark, stamp and bond powder and the glitter per instructions from Luvlee. Added a hairspray coating to make sure the glitter stayed put. Photo corners were used to mount Elvis, so that the recipients, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, can remove the card and read the facts on the back which I found to be quite serendipitous:"While in the Army, Elvis often received ten thousand fan letters in a week. He drove a Jeep and was later promoted to sergeant." I went through an Elvis songbook and luckily found the song that they deserve, rearranging pieces for a better design outcome. I highlighted the lyrics is neon yellow.

The technique is one I have not heard of til now and does frame hmmmm MY Elvis real good---have loved him since I was a wee one---wonder what it would have been like if his twin had lived---think his name was Aaron---not sure. Love the song back ground so appropriate for this--great card.

I love that song. I must look for an Elvis version; I don't know if the film is Peter O'Toole himself or dubbed, but it's not wonderful! Great retro style to this with the colour palette and the appropriate bling.
