This was a fun but challenging challenge today using the Rosette Turkey Tutorial by Jean Cross for the Falliday Fest!
I am in the process of cleaning out my craft room - and I had JUST given away my scallop punch that I could have used on the rosettes - but never fear - after much searching through my craft room - I realized I could use pinking shears for the edges, and they came out great!
Then my Scor Pal only has a few lines that are 1/4" apart - so it took me a lot longer to score each 12" rosette strip at every 1/4".
But I persevered! and I love my turkey - and I placed him on a slice of aspen branch that DH Kent cut for me from a branch we found on our town's walking path.
So - I'm happy I got little Tom done - but I don't think I'll rush right back to my room to make another - but I know that I could!
Are you playing along with Falliday Fest?? we are having a blast - using lots of supplies in our craft rooms! come join us - see details here in the forum!
