So glad to be back to creating! Created border on popped up panel with embossing thinlet technique using a rubber pad so thinlet does not cut (per Jennifer McGuire). Watercolor washed. Sprinkled gamboge, lemon, green, and scarlet brushos on mixed media paper, spritzed with water until colors ran. Cut several leaves from piece. Used finger to add a bit of Inka Gold. Sponged early expresso on edges of leaf. Curled leaf with bone folder, popped up with foam tape. Added a few gold wink of stella dots. Popped up panel with fun foam on A2 card base.

Beautiful card! Love your background with the bit of watercolour wash, but most of all, love that gorgeous leaf - great colours and great sponged edge.

AMAZING card Sarah! Great background with the debossed stitched frame and swipes of watercolour wash. The leaf is gorgeous. Beautiful mix of colours. Love the shaping and sponged edging. The highlights of gold are just perfect. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx
