Joanne here with a technique that starts with J- Joseph's Coat (found in the Tutorials section). Inked Glossy card stock with Spectrum ink pad of fall colors, stamped leaves in Versamark and embossed with clear powder. Brayered Basic Black ink over top of panel and then wiped off ink. Card base was embossed with Tim Holtz Thanksgiving folder. Added sentiment tag and embellishments.

I love this technique - it is such an eye catcher! The vibrant colors in your base layer are just screaming FALL and your card is so balanced, even with the deep contrasts. Beautiful - I love it! Thank you for making a sample for me! xoxo

Thank you for this inspiration. I've been wanting to try this technique because I received a card which was done with Joseph's Coat (and I remember Jan Tink loves to make these). My real first name is Janet (even though I go by my middle name of Lela) - so technically I *could* do this technique and qualify for the challenge. Thanks for the great inspiration - it's beautiful. I would be worried with so much black, but you pulled it off without it being too much of a contrast. Striking card!
