I really, really don't enjoy making sympathy cards, but I think they are one of the most important types of cards we can give. A coworker and his family recently had to put one of their beloved dogs to rest, and my heart goes out to them. I have been in their shoes many times, and been by the side of others in that situation countless others (as a certified veterinary technician), so I feel their pain and know how difficult it is to go on as if it's a normal day because many perceive them as "just animals" rather than beloved parts of the family.
I combined the CAS442 "Monochromatic With A Twist" challenge I missed out on a few weeks ago with the WT655 "DIY Decorations" (raised paw print and sparkly hearts in the background) for this card. I took this picture at night under artificial light, so I apologize for the picture quality.
Thanks for looking!
Blessings,
C

This is such a sweet pet sympathy card. The raised paw print is perfect to accent the simple design. Sometimes people don't understand the grief from losing a beloved animal. It's so considerate of you to offer condolences and compassion through your work. Thanks for adding your lovely card to the challenge.

A beautiful card. It is as lovely as any I have seen for a person and I know the person receiving it will appreciate the depth of your understanding of their loss of a member of their faimily.
------------------------------ How did I get along before I found this wonderful addiction?
I have made hundreds of cards and so many people say it has brought joy to their lives which, in turn, brings joy to my life. Almost everyone I give them to says that they always save me, which I consider a huge compliment.
