I have wanted to try this technique that is all the rage but when I did I was a wee bit disappointed.....I did the one first where you just stamp all over the paper and then raise the words up and it was just too busy for me.....one of those things i like when other people do it but when I try....not so much......so I put my own little twist on the technique and stamped all over one page and then cut the letters out of that one but then put them down on one that was only stamped with the wood background and I liked this one better. In the end I piddled a whole day away playing with variations of this techinique and I was like......MEH. Anyway it's okay- just not worth an entire Saturday?? MEH. Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Karen, this is amazing! I've yet to try this. You may have just persuaded me to try. Your card is beautiful.

#colorchallengepolice! Indeed! Wish I'd thought of that--or even pulling out my Peach Parfait, as Mary did! My 2-step stamping pales by comparison, but I do love this stamp set--great minds, and all that.
I like the effect you got with your raised letters! Unusual and very pretty card!

I totally understand about how "busy" the raised die cut sentiments can look, so I LOVE your version! Brilliant idea and while I am sorry you spent a day working on this (been there, I can empathize) the end result is just fabulous. Love your gorgeous card, Karen!

Oh, it was worth your Saturday to get this one made. It's gorgeous. I'm afraid of the challenge police today, too. Ha
