Lee has challenged us to use pumpkins for the CAS challenge today. I've been trying hard to really keep my CAS cards CAS lately, and I'm enjoying the results.
Here's another stamp I didn't know I had bought on Ebay! Funny thing is, when I was going through my stamps I got to this package of totally random looking stamps that just don't seem to match each other at all. It was labelled "Tag Time", but I was sure that over time it had just become a random collection of stamps. Until I looked it up. Turns out this random collection of stamps really was a set. Anyway, it's a cute pumpkin, so I figured why not use it. I drew out a grid of 1" squares on my paper and used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to repeat the pumpkins all over it. By the time I got to the bottom, my mom had come in. I enjoy getting my mom's opinion on my cards when she comes over in the morning. I couldn't decide if I should stop the stamps with the last full row of pumpkins or just stamp the top half across the bottom. She told me it needed something across the bottom, so I went with the pumpkin halves. I didn't hear her say "but not pumpkins." She says I ruined it. LOL. I still like it.
Looking forward to all the orange in the gallery today

Oh, my gosh! When I first read the challenge this is the pumpkin that came to mind. I used to do so much with Tag Time, but I thinned that out of my stash a few moves ago. I just love the warm glow you've made with all of these pumpkins on their golden background!

Listen to your mother, then do it your own way. I loved my mother, but went in MY direction. I love the half pumpkins. great to put the sentiment in place of one of them.

I didn't even think about the bottom until you mentioned it. (p.s. I think they are fine.) My eye went right where it was supposed to - "give thanks." I love how simple you kept it. I love stamping patterns. Really nice card - way to make an old set look new and on trend. (I didn't notice the set was older either, until you mentioned it. The font and image are timeless.) Nice find. Nice card. And it's great that you still have your mom around. (My husband is my second opinion LOL)
