I use aluminum foil to protect my work surface when working with alcohol inks. I used to throw it away when I was finished, but noticed that the colours were so pretty on the foil, so I have started to keep them.
I used a leftover piece of foil for the background of my card. I used Gorgeous Grunge, stamped several times and heat embossed in silver, for the background. The main panel is the foil, glued to a piece of card stock to make it sturdy, and then dry embossed with snowflakes. A simple white die-cut of snowbank and trees was added on top. The sentiment was heat embossed in silver to match.
