The base of this card is one of our Whisper White Notecards. They are made of our Thick Whisper White Cardstock which makes them such a great base. I also love their size at 5 x 3 1/2″. Reminder that they also come in Very Vanilla now as well!
The stamp set Hug in a Mug is from the StampinÂ’Up! Holiday Catalog. It is just adorable and so very easy to work with. It is one of our photopolymer stamp sets which make it amazingly easy to line up the images.
I cropped out an oval using the LayeringOvals Thinlits and my Big Shot. Since I was making multiples I was able to double up on my Whisper White Cardstock and crop two out at a time.
Once I had all those ovals cropped out I sat down to stamp. The trayÂ…or is it a shelf (?) was stamped in Early Espresso and colored in with a Crumb Cake marker
The mug and sentiment were both stamped with Early EspressoÂ….isnÂ’t that sentiment and font divine!! I used Early Espresso on this card as it has a little softer look than our Tuxedo Black Memento.
The inside of the cup and that sweet little heart are both stamped in Berry Burst. A little Glimmer Dot adds a bit of sparkle and a Lace Doily keeps the sweetness flowing. |
