The card base is StampinÂ’Up! Thick Whisper White Cardstock. I love this as a base for my cards. Just be sure to give it a quick score so that it gives you a nice crisp fold line.
The second layer is Whisper White cut to 3 3/4 x 5″ This creates a little wider border which I really like on a simple card.
I chose Marina Mist and Real Red as my pops of color. They are fresh and soft together which is perfect for the feel of this card.
I stamped the outline of both the mug and spoon in Basic Gray. The gray is much softer than our Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and I liked having a softer contrast.
The spoon was colored in with a Smoky Slate marker and the mug was stamped with Marina Mist. This 2 step stamp makes it a snap to add whatever color you want to the inside of your mug.
The sentiment was stamped in Marina Mist and cropped out using the 1 3/8″ circle punch.
A whole bunch of dimensionals helps each layer pop. #lovemydimensionals
