If I was going camping I would go on horseback!!
Alas, not much camping for me! But don't worry, every cowboy has all he needs in his saddlebags and bedroll tied to his saddle.
With the twist and lots of green.... trees that is.
I did not think to ink the background on the embossing folder before embossing the panel and thinking it would be hard to color inside the raised areas I put this one aside . I decided to try Copic markers and found it was not hard at all to color!!
It had more vivid colors doing the background after embossing.
I cut an oval from the back panel matted it then adhered it back. I wanted be able to use the whole panel.

How beautiful! I just finished a book of stories of Wyoming, and that's what I thought of right away. Love the cowboy in the birch woods and the way you added the green trees and the greeting.

This is gorgeous, and what a lovely way to get the most out of that panel.
Funnily enough, last time we were camping I met a woman who told me she used to do competitive long-distance races on horseback and had a sleeping compartment on her horse trailer, but I don't think that's the kind of camping you had in mind.

What a wonderful idea having "our cowboy".some of us remember our "cowboy"...he is in the saddle today...:0) in behind so we can peek through the trees and not startle the horse...;0)...well done....beautiful scene. The framing like that adds so much. Love too the little trees in the front..GORGEOUS...TFS..:0)

This is jaw dropping INCREDIBLE Sharon. I have been sitting here for the longest time taking in this wonderful scene. I have never tried this technique, it looks spectacular and I live how you took it one step. Further with the oval cutting. I hope you can tell how much I love this!
