After much thinking, I decided to make a get well card. This was fun to try, there are definitely some things I would change next time.
The card front is basically a single layer except for the word bubble. I stamped the nurse and "ambulance" masking part of the truck when stamping and then masking both the truck and the nurse. I saw an altered ambulance tasty truck on Pinterest somewhere, I wish I could say it my idea! I stamped the ground stamp from Sheltering Tree to provide road for the ambulance. I sponged the sky using a scalloped circle. I hand drew the red cross and light on my ambulance and then colored the nurse and ambulance with Prismacolor pencils. That was the easy part!
For the inside, I had to modify the opening to fit the poor guy on the exam table as well as his wife. I don't have any indoor scenery stamps so I sponged a So Saffron wall color with Sahara Sand on the floor. One of the things I'd do differently is to not use the brick ef because now, to me, it looks like they are inside a big fireplace! The sentiment says "Sending a little laughter...it's the BEST medicine! Hope you'll soon be fully re-covered!"
A fun card to make, thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

What a clever way to use Tasty Trucks!! I had to laugh when I read your "big fireplace", because once you'd said it, I immediately remembered the massive fireplaces in the abbey on Mont-Saint-Michel in France, tall enough for DH to stand inside. I always think it takes a couple of attempts with a new fold to get the feel of it and have an idea of what will work. I think the embossing could be optional, really, with this one. ( In the case of the tri-shutter, I STILL haven't got a feel for what will work, sigh, so I really admired your tree one).
What a great and fun get-well card, sure to raise a grin.

What a fabulously fun get well card! The front of your card looks terrific with the cloudy sky and the colorful images instantly makes me smile! Inside, you portrayed the exam room and characters with more smiles along with the sentiment. Sure to be a keeper beyond re-covery!!

This turned out so cute and I love the humor in both the inside And outside sentiments - wonderful because we all have heard laughter is the best medicine. I agree about the giant fireplace (I thought that when I saw the bride in the tutorial walking into a 'fireplace') You captured the essence of an exam room - the ones I visit are all pretty STARK unless you count the occasional anatomy poster . . . Well done, Catherine!

Love your card! Really looks like had fun making it! I, too, made the tutorial and want to try another card. I couldn't use my brick EF because it was too small so I went with a stone EF. The hardest part was deciding ind if card to make. Yours is just so funny! The person receiving it should really laugh as well as feeling better! Well done.
