For SabrinaÂ’s Step Pop Up Card
Using kraft CS, I cut the card base & inside panel per tutorial provided.
I stamped the background with a Winter night sky stamp in dark turquoise ink and then stamped the evergreen trees in tranquil Tide.
I masked the evergreens and stamped the night sky stamp as shown. I had to stamp a couple of times to cover the width of panel and tried to minimize the edges by pouncing the night sky with a stiff paintbrush and dk turquoise ink.
I then made a snowdrift template, and sponged white ink at the bottom of trees and also on the back panel, which doesnÂ’t really show.
I dry embossed the paw prints on the bottom half of inside panel after stamping the sentiment “Paw La la la la la la la la”
I stamped the Chorus Cat trio on kraft in Versafine ink, and colored them with red & Green sharpie markers, then sponged snow in white ink.
For the outside, I used a rustic/vintage DP of SantaÂ’s face on a green mat.
I stamped the Poodle on kraft CS, colored the hat in red marker and the white using a chaulk marker.
I stamped the sentiment in tranquil Tide, die cut with a deckled rectangle die, then using the die as my guide, edged the sentiment panel with paintbrush & ink.
This took a while to make, mainly going through my stamps to create the scene!!
I am pleased with the results.

What great paper on the front - and what a totally delightful scene inside. That sky is just so beautiful, and the embossed paw prints give a great feel of animals tracking through the snow. The cute carollers finish it off to perfection.

Oh fun! your poodle makes the perfect Santa since he already has the little fur puffs at his ankles emmulating our Santa's fur trimmed suit. I find it funny that the carolers inside are cats waiting for a DOG to bring them goodies - ha ha ha -
