I have admired the cards made by inking the embossing folder before embossing the paper panel. I have met with varying degrees of success but still I will periodically try!
From 4 stamped panels I have ONE card made.
On this one I inked what would be the background of my card directly from ink pad to the embossing folder. I them stamped my image with black ink and quickly embossing the panel.
I added detail colors to the stamped image and trees with Memento markers and colored pencils then swiped the trees with ground espresso ink pad.

Wow, Sharon, this is fabulous! I was just looking at this technique on Pinterest the other night and just love your card with it! It's amazing, and I love the scene you've used and your amazing coloring of the trees! Hugs!

WOW, I've wanted to try this. . . I even bought the embossing folder. Guess I better get started. . . May take until New Years to get it finished and look good enough to send. LOL
