Another card for Jeanne's Mister Mister MIX challenge. I already had this background piece of tissue on my desk. I promise it looks better in real life - having spent time getting a good image on the tissue paper I decided to upload even though I couldn't get a good photo.
I coloured the tissue by smooshing it in distress inks misted with an acrylic gold shimmer mist - covering the mixed media base, and there's a lovely golden shimmer you can't see. I did not go on to wrinkle it further and emboss it, just left it as it was. Stamped the image several times - in the end, I folded the loose ends of the tissue paper round the block, turned it over and pressed gently to get good cover. I think it would have been easier to iron the tissue paper first! Added a frame and put it on a white card base.

Oh my goodness this is pure magic Sabrina. I read your description in 'email' form and had a completely different picture in my head - I had a pink, glittery Cinderella image in my mind LOL. Your background is so dramatic, it's rich and beautiful and the silhouette stamping is wonderful. I've never seen this image before, it's like a page from a magical children's storybook. Viewing this is a great way to end my day. Night my friend.

So beautiful and magical, Sabrina. I see a lot of shimmer. I just have to try that tissue paper technique.

Sabrina, this is gorgeous. I cannot imagine how it could look better IRL, it looks perfect in your photo. I love the colors you chose for you tissue paper and the gold shimmer looks so pretty with it.
