This is for yesterday's TLC challenge where Sabrina shared a beautiful technique. Instead of dying tissue paper, I went to a stack of paper towels I had saved after my kids and foster grandson tie dyed T shirts this summer. The colors are really vibrant! I pulled apart the towel and used only one ply. I put Elmer's glue all over a piece of white cs and glued the wrinkled piece down. I then ran my Versamark pad over the raised areas and sprinkled Pewter ep and embossed. I did this a second round, trying a bit harder to touch on all the wrinkles. I diecut the flowers. I had to add a bit of glue along some of the edges where the paper towel had pulled back. I added centers and used my Silver Sharpie along the edges of the flowers since I wanted to bend them a bit using a stylus. I diecut my branch then dry embossed with a Texturz plate. I used glue dots to add the flowers layering over a Gelli print piece. I added some tiny pearls and used my Mini MISTI to stamp my sentiment so I could make sure it was legible.

Oh yes, paper towels from mopping up can have fabulous rich colour, way to go on using one here. I'm sorry that you needed a sympathy card, but you came up with a beautiful design.
