Another card for Send a Smile 4 Kids. I printed the image onto a piece of watercolor paper & colored it with my Inktense pencils. I used a damp paintbrush to pick up the color from the pencils & apply it to the paper. I also added some highlights to the jar with a white gel pen. For the background, I embossed a panel of blue cardstock with the "Leaves" folder, adhered that to an A2-sized panel of green cardstock, & used my sewing machine to run 2 lines of stitching around the perimeter of the blue. I adhered the patterned paper strip in place, and mounted my focal panel to the background. I created my greeting in Photoshop, printed it on a strip of tan cardstock, then cut that into a banner. I glued that to my card front. There are 2 embellishment areas in the sketch, but I needed to cover an ink smudge, so I added a third! I glued buttons on that went well with the colors in my image and let the glue dry. I poked holes through the panel behind the buttonholes, and threaded them with jute twine, tying each piece in a knot. Finally, I adhered the card front to a white card base.
