I have so many old sets, really need to sell some of them. I always liked this one so I brought out the little cake and decided to use the sketch again to use the last full pieces of Gable Green CS that I had. Also used a few scraps. Stamped the background and then added the black doodles stamp to half of the circles and sponged the yellow on to part of the background so I had the two panels of the sketch.

This is so cute! Fun and festive, a wonderful birthday card. I really like that half of it is sponged so it is the same panel but colored and stamped differently. Adorable!

So many of the older SU sets still look great, it's been fun seeing them in the gallery...and seeing the people who pulled out colours, supplies or tools from the same era. This is a great all-purpose birthday card, half a dozen of them would be great to have on hand.

I love this older SU stamp. I remember when it came out and really wanted to get it for birthday cards but my wish list was so long that I never ended up getting it. I love seeing this pop up in the gallery. Thank you so much for playing along and bringing this goodie stamp.

Retro fun, indeed. What a cute card. Gosh, I forgot about my crimper, though I probably used it a time or two last year.

I just love that two sided background, way to update those lovely little background doodles! Such a happy card, I love the squiggly lines on the cake, and the sentiment! Such a pretty card!
