I used this week's color challenge colors and the sketch challenge from a couple of weeks ago to create this birthday card. That sketch had me stumped for a while and then I thought of this.
I love the color challenge because it has me put colors together that I wouldn't necessarily do on my own. This week's dessert option was "any green" so I got dessert too, and I love sweets!
I don't have any Peekaboo Peach paper so I took the ink pad direct to some white cs and then decided to take the Pool Party ink pad direct to white cs as well. I adhered both strips to the black cs and then cut out the circle after which I embossed that panel with the Softly Falling ef. I added copper Stickles to the centers of the Peekaboo Peach flowers.
Thanks for looking!

Lovely b'day card combining the two challenges. The criss-crossing strips against the black make a strong statement and bring the eye to your sweet, flower-rimmed sentiment circle.

Wow, using the peekaboo peach ink really worked well. Love what you did with the sketch from a couple of weeks ago-embossing those strips. And filling the circle with the images and sentiment. Nicely done!

Black with the pastels works well with the criss-cross design. Nice take on the challenges.
