This was truly a quickie card. I heat embossed the black image and sentiment with Black EP. Brushed over the peppers with my aquapainter--three different colors--and you can see that I didn't even have to stay in the lines for this one. Added a little sprig of raffia because I can't think of hanging chiles without raffia...
This card, too, is dedicated to our first responders and those who have met Harvey personally this last week.

Love the not-staying-in-the-lines look here, it works so well to give a folk-art feel to your bunch of chillies. I just tasted the salad I've made for our lunches tomorrow and I think it's too hot!
That Psalms of the Sea is a beautiful set! I'm more or less on a buying freeze, but I just had to get it myself, since I love sea/beach themed cards and it's always nice to have a few more Scripture stamps - I'm sure you'll enjoy it too.

I love your chile ristra and how you colored it!! Love the sentiment! You reminded me that I had one of these, but then I couldn't find it, must have given it away years ago.
