A nice little country scene that I really enjoyed making. Hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think.
Details:
Early Espresso: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" = base
Very Vanilla: 1" x 2" = Ferns (5)
Very Vanilla: 2 1/2" square = Sunflower (1)
Very Vanilla: 1 1/2" square = Leaves (2)
***NOTE: THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF DSP USED IN THIS CARD. THE BASE WHICH IS A DARK WOOD AND THE WHITE WASHED WHICH IS THE CUTOUT FOR THE TWO BACKGROUND SUNFLOWERS TO BE STAMPED ON****
Wood Textures DSP Stack:
Dark Weathered Wood: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" = base
White Washed Wood: 4 1/4" x 3 = frame
When I cut the white washed looking DSP with the Labels Collection Framelits Dies I cut the side points off to give it a "flat" look on both sides. I then roughly went around the outside of the frame with the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to give it a distressed/burnt wood look rather than layering a second frame behind it. I thought it would look more authentic.
Cutting the sunflower and the ferns out were tedious ... but worth it I think.
