DD8ABC2B: we are on the letter B and the double challenge is to stamp with yarn wrapped around a block. My letter B is the title of the stamp set, Best of Autumn and I guess we could call that a bucket of apples.
I modified last week's vertical step card because I only wanted three steps for this card. (That was a challenge for me, I needed to have my math nerd DH figure it out for me.)
The steps were stamped with the yarn in Cherry Cobbler and the back part was stamped with the yarn in Always Artichoke. My DD thought it gives the texture of a basket which is perfect for this card.
I stamped the images with Antique Linen and colored them with Prismacolor pencils adding shadow to ground the bucket of apples and the pumpkins.
I used six colors of distress oxide inks on the watercolor paper and then punched the leaves using my CM leaf punch. After punching, I stamped them with the leaf from the Best of Autumn set, tapped the gold pen on them, and sponged with Early Espresso for edge definition.
I heat embossed the sentiment for some sparkle and shine. This was a fun card to create, I hope you like it. Thanks for looking.

My goodness Catherine, you have created an amazing card here! You have packed so many techniques into this one card and created a masterpiece with it. Your yard blocking is really perfect for this card because it gives this card that wonderful "sweater feel" that we love about fall, and yes, it also does look like a basket. I love the vertical step design you chose and all the gorgeous coloring and highlighting you did. This bucket of apples looks good enough to eat! The techniqe you used on your leaves gives is fabulous and add's that special touch of glitter we all love so much. Great job on the letter B challenge my friend! Hugs! ~Karen.
