This is my card for Carla's ingenious WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE.
For the Serendipity Squares (see TLC470 for a tutorial, it appears that I used French Foliage, HA grass, Papillon Potpourri, Gorgeous Grunge for stamps, old book pages, and the following inks: Versafine Black, Encore Gold, distress inks ~ mustard see, weathered wood, walnut stain.
The card base with some leftover squares stuck to it has been lurking in my scrap box for three years, a spare unfinished one from my very first DD gallery.
To remake it from the previous version (see attachment in my post on the challenge thread), I added dotted lines around the squares, and changed up the sentiment to something more practical ;-). This one is stamped on a leftover scrap from the stamping with bubble-wrap TLC recently. I layered that onto a black oval, and then a scalloped oval covered with Versamark and gold EP. I stamped the butterfly and embossed it with gold also. Lastly I added a few sequins...
Thanks for a great challenge, Carla. I'm looking forward to seeing what other people come up with.

Sabrina, I love your updated card! The oval sentiment panel and pretty butterfly work wonderfully with those beautiful squares. Thank you for your lovely sample for the challenge.

Sabrina this is so beautifully dressed up! The BG on your squares are fantastic and the added stitched lines and butterfly really add to the beauty on the squares. Nicely done on this challenge with your dressed up card.

Certainly a beautiful card with this technique, Sabrina. It seems work and time intensive, but your results are spectacular. Fun just studying each square.

I like both versions. The layered sentiment and the addition of the faux stitching and the embossed butterfly makes this version even more elegant than the original, which was already very pretty.

I really like this, Sabrina, as well as the first version (fun sentiment on the first version). I like your sentiment oval with the scalloped gold oval peeking out and that beautiful butterfly. Your stitching is the perfect finishing touch.
