This week's technique challenge is to do an ink spritzed background. I don't have any ink sprays so I inked my plastic folder with three colors of distress ink and then spritzed it with water before inserting my watercolor paper. Hopefully, this qualifies as it was as close as I could get. I was generous with the water and used watercolor paper, so I could get more of the watercolor effect.
I heat embossed the flourish with sticky embossing powder and added Dazzling Diamonds. It didn't have quite the effect I was looking for so I then stamped over it with white craft ink. It is quite sparkly in real life.
I added the flowers, the die cut sentiment, the ribbon complete with bow for the Free for all challenge. In real life, it is quite a happy, sparkly hello card. It was a bit difficult to get a good photo.
Thanks for looking.

Catherine, I think you created a fantastic piece of art using the spritzing technique! I love the craft white stamping on the card and the beautiful sparkly white flowers. Great job, Catherine!

What a beautiful card this is Catherine. I just love the colors of your background, and how all the white elements just "pop" off this gorgeous bg. What a fun card this is with all the added sparkle and shine. ~Karen.
The colors are amazing!!! I am so glad you didn't let an absence of spray inks stop you from playing along. You still found a way to spray ink!!! Your background is sooo gorgeous and I love the sparkling white die cuts!
