My youngest DD is a big Doctor Who fan and she introduced me to the show. I had to make this TARDIS for her. I found the instructions here: https://thecraftspa.blogspot.com/201...-tutorial.html though I had to modify them for what I had.
The point coming out of the lid with the rhinestones on it is a Word Window punch cut in half, glued together and glued to the inside of the lid, finished with rhinestones on both sides.
I didn't use individual white pieces for each of the windows. The top windows are one piece of white cs sponged with Soft Sky ink and glued behind the door, then I added the lines with a Night of Navy marker. I used the cut away pieces from the window framelit to make the corners that stick out from the lid on each side.
I filled the inside with Rolos - which she loves - and pointed out to her that Rolos have the shape of fezzes (something to do with the show). It was so much fun to watch her react to the 3D TARDIS.
Thanks for looking.

This is just outstanding Catherine. I bet you were giggling the whole entire time you were making this for you DD knowing how much she was going to love it. I bet it was super fun to watch her open up this gorgeous TARDIS and find those yummy treats inside. You employed a great deal of creativity into making this wonderful box Catherine and I am super impressed by the end result here and the great story of how you came about to make this. I have yet to see the show myself, but you do have me curious about it. Fun! ~Karen.
