I did a lot of experimenting trying to figure out the best way to get a blue sky with the yellow rays not have everything turn green. If folks have suggestions, I'd love to hear them. That will the knowledge part of the challenge, in addition to the light of the sunburst. ;-) I think ideally, I could have used masking fluid (if I had some) on the rays and then done a blue water color over it. But I went with blue paper instead. And the. When I realized I could use some scraps of plaid dp, the other colors came together easily. This will be for a coworker's birthday next week. I always like to make her special ones because she has all my past cards tacked up on her board. Thanks for looking!

Leah, you created such a beautiful scene with the dogie flying away in his hot-air balloon! The cityscape against the sun rays and beautiful blue sky is gorgeous. Great birthday card!
