The turquoise layer is a Gelli print from months ago
The main panel background is a digi, die cut silhouette images, and a heat embossed sentiment (it's gold but hard to tell in the photo).
The left border is gold washi tape.
The red layer is where all the mixed media happened, it's just a regular ol' piece of white cardstock. I gesso'ed it, applied Gelatos in Cherry, Tangerine and Mango, applied pieces of ripped book pages (it's in Chinese, I felt it would be easier to get me beyond my dread to rip a page out of a book if I couldn't read it, still not sure I enjoyed that process LOL), then reapplied the Gelatos. I added a layer of clear gesso to seal it, then added some distress crayon to darken it (the gelatos are very bright and pigmented!), then added inka gold through a stencil....
So after all that, I covered up 2/3 of my mixed media panel with my main panel LOL.

Gorgeous! Love the rich colors. The turquoise in the background is terrific. Fabulous die-cuts. I like how you placed them beyond the edge of the panel. Awesome sketch and wonderful card for it. TFS

Oh, Carey, this is GORGEOUS! The colors are so bright and cheerful and the patterns and textures you've got with your gelli print and mixed media are to die for! I can't stop looking at it.
