I made this card for the SCS Try a New Technique Challenge. The technique was to make a brick wall without using stamps or embossing.
I started by stamping the bear image on the card base and cutting it. Next I cut the same panel into strips and made bricks. To add the color I sponged it with Antique Linen distress ink. I glued them to a grey cardstock. Next I attached a fence and colored it with brown and black Tombow markers.
I used different images from Lawn Fawn Fairy Friends stamp for the flowers and used glitter gel pens and markers to color them. The hanging plants on the wall is from Lavinia stamp set and I stamped them with green pigment ink. The color was too light and I used color pencils to brighten it.
For the grass, I colored a strip of paper with different green markers and cut them with scissors for grass blades. To add details I used different shades of color pencils and flicked it.
Lastly for the teddy bear image I started by coloring with Tombow markers and added more detail with color pencils.

What a sweet scene. I like that you have made a house wall with a window, rarer than a garden wall. I can imagine the bear standing there breathing in the scent from the roses growing around the window. Thanks for joining the TLC this week.
