I made this for Lyn 's DTGD challenge - I've been pondering all week how to combine it with a card for my sweet MIL who turns 92 this week. And here it is...

I followed the Twisted Pop-Up card tutorial.
My front is a Sizzix ef, edged with gold Stickles. I made the dogwood blossom and added a little ladybird, shaped and popped up on foam.
Inside, I made four panels using a Hero Arts Dogwood stamp, with minimal colouring and a little sponging round the edges with Antique Linen before edging them all with gold Stickles.
The Happy Birthday die-cut was from a scrap of paper in a colour similar to the shading on the dogwood blossoms, which I covered with clear packing tape before cutting to give a gloss finish.

Into my high ho list. You make such gorgeous cards that leaves me speechless and at time fear to go into your gallery because I'd get lost in it and probably drool all over them. Just be glad your thousand of miles away and I only see it via net minus the gorgeous few you sent me. I just love your work but I love your wonderful heart and friendship the most. Bless your heart sweet Sabrina!! Friends for life!! Sisters forever!!
