He background was made sponging grey ink through a hero arts stencil, then the edges inked - on watercolor paper. I think I used this sentiment is almost every DTGD year I've played - it's heat embossed, which makes it really popped on this background.

I can understand your returning to this sentiment, it's a sage and lovely metaphor. The simplicity of your card does it justice; also, the movement in the stencil suggests change. Very nicely executed.
