Since I was already ink-stained from elbow to finger tips (I just can't create with gloves on), I decided to make a second card for one of my "artsy" friends.
This was the inspiration for my second card - I really like the staggered poles and of course the ethereal floating colors . . .
I cut a long strip of watercolor paper, spritzed the entire thing with water then randomly dotted in Night of Navy and daffodil delight to the beads of water with an aquabrush and let them float where they wanted. Once dry, I picked up some poppy red on my brush and spattered over the strip. Cut into random lengths and arranged on my card base. I decided to use this generic sentiment since it echoed the staggered look of the poles - To finish, I found these VERY narrow drop off pieces and used them to frame the card top & bottom.

I liked the staggered poles too. This card has the most beautiful colors, and such a modern look!!!
