Card Details:
Card Base is Whisper White Thick Cardstock cut to 4.25 in x 11 in and scored / folded at 5.5 in.
Shimmery White Cardstock was cut to 4 in x 5.25 in and adhered to the card base with StampinÂ’ Dimensionals.
When watercoloring images with Aqua Painters, I always use Basic Black Archival Ink. After allowing it to dry, it will not smudge or smear. I stamped these images onto Shimmery White Cardstock, my favorite canvas for detailed watercolor creations.
I used the following Classic Ink Colors on the images:
Hair – Daffodil Delight
Skin – Powder Pink
Dress and Bows – Pacific Point
Boots, Pockets – Melon Mambo
Carrots – Pumpkin Pie
Grass and Carrot Top – Garden Green
Sky – Soft Sky
Fence and Basket – Soft Suede
I always start with heavier color on the left of the image and slowly drag color to the right to get the shadowed look.
I fussy cut the images with a Paper Snips and Xacto Knife for inner areas. Always remember when you are fussy cutting to move the paper and not the scissors for the best cut.
