Cardstock Cuts:
Fresh Fig: 4" x 5 1/4" - base
4 1/2" x 1 1/4" - branch
scraps - for Orchid centers
Powder Pink: 4" x 5 1/4" - Matte
1 3/4" x 7/8" - Ticket Duo Punch
Copper Foil: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" - Background
Shimmer White: 8 1/2" x 2" - Orchids & Buds
I ran the copper foil through this EF and let me tell you it just POPPED!!!! I think it made the whole card. I find it reminiscent of the tin ceilings that you would find in the stores back when I was a child.
To achieve the look on the orchids, I first inked up the stamp in versa mark & then I inked it up in Fresh Fig BEFORE I stamped it on the Shimmer White Cardstock. Then I promptly dipped it in Clear EP and zapped it with my heat gun so I could watercolor on it.
To watercolor on the Orchids I spritzed the Shimmer White Cardstock with water & then, using my aqua painter that I had loaded up with Flirty Flamingo ink, I dipped the aqua painter into the water that had I spritzed onto the Shimmer White Cardstock and watched it "bleed" out all over the image. I let each segment dry and then I assembled the orchid and placed on the branch with mini glue dots.
Thanks for looking, Let me know how you like it or if you have any questions.
