For the plaid technique challenge. I used markers, quadrille and a (please forgive me) ruler to create the plaid. No smears with the ruler, as it's one I'd used ages ago in cartography, and it has a bevelled edge. The quarter inch graph paper makes for a more uniform placement. I'm not OCD. I'm not OCD. I'm not OCD.
Must say, I prefer using mft's plaid maker stamp set to markers, to create a plaid bg.

Lucky you having a no smears ruler - I tried one, in an attempt to get straight lines, but mine did smudge. I did use grid paper underneath in the hopes that it would give my eyes a line to follow - we thought alike that far. Great framing and a really lovely Christmas card, Brenda.
