I used jeans and china oxide inks and painted the bird. I made the gingham behind the bird with a copic marker and ruler. The flowers were colored with Copic markers, I added the bird and all the pieces with dimensionals or glue dots. I cut the beak and added a small piece of gingham ribbon. I sponged the clouds in the backgound.

Your DIY gingham turned out beautifully - I don't think I'd have been brave enough to try it! Love the pink flowers and berries contrasting with the blues.

I just love your creative ways of incorporating gingham into your card. That bird is so pretty, as are the sprig of blooms with the pink rhinestones he is resting on. A lovely card!

LOVELY card...rich in color! You birdie is colored so beautiful. Great sponged clouds and handmade check. Little apply blossoms so pretty with their sparkly rhinestone centers.
