Hello all,
I got my white paint out and dry brushed this beach fence so now I'm expecting Strawberry Shortcake in the mail!! LOL!
What a great challenge. who doesn't know this very famous story. You may not know about this one, the frog hopping contest is based off of the Calaveras County here in central Cali not all that far from us. I guess while Mark Twain was visiting the area or maybe even lived here for a while (not sure about that part).
Anyway, I did an end of the day scene at the beach and special sky message to some very special couple!
They left the beach but they can see it from their living room window as they live right on the strand.
The sky is sponged, the rest is Copic.
Thanks for looking!

Robin, this is beautiful! I love the vivid sunset and the sky message. Your whitewashed fence is definitely worthy of strawberry shortcake. Hope it doesn't get too squished in the mail ;) Thanks for playing in my challenge and treating us to your creation!

Gorgeous!! I would love to be sitting in on of those beach chairs right now! That is one gorgeous sky, but even the ocean and sand are beautiful!! A gorgeous beach scene!

Your beach scene is fantastic & that old rickety fence off to the side looks just like the ones I see in Galveston near the shore - weathered, worn and a little wonky from years of wear & tear.

Robin, what a wonderful scene - I love beach cards. Imagine having a view like this from your window, I would love that. Great work on those birds, they add such life to the scene.
