These are my cards for the duoprinting with chlorophyll technique. Lydia Fiedler (Understand Blue) provided a great tutorial Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I used a small branch of leaves of a Purple Plum tree we have in the front of our house. The leaves are a dark mahogany color.
The results provided to 2 very different colors on the water color paper.
For the card on the left, the print is the backside of the leaves which is mostly the vein outlines in a magenta/gray. The picture doesn't do justice to capture the true colors.
I used dark gray gauze paper behind the print, added sticker for the sentiment, a lavender satin ribbon with bow and finished with sequins.
The card on the right, is the front of the leaves which is a purple/gray and a very slight hint of sage color in the leaves. Again, photo doesn't capture the details.
I matted with a blue green CS and the base is a royal blue. The sentiment is die cut on textured paper in purple.
I snipped all sorts of leaves from trees, bushes, and even harvested some baby carrots today and spent most of the day duoprinting. These will be used in future card projects.
Thanks Lydia for a fun technique. The possibilities are endless!!

Both cards are absolutely gorgeous! I love how you used the front and back of the leaves and made 2 beautiful cards with different, yet amazing, looks! I look forward to seeing the others cards you make using this wonderful technique. ~Karen.
