I had a spare background left after using the Faux Leather with Masking Tape tutorial last week, so I used it as a background for this sweet bird image. Image stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with distress inks. I stippled some ink into the sponged backgrounds to add a bit more depth. Edged the base with a brown Sharpie, and also created a brown layer to mat the image onto. Finished it off with some die-cut leaves, a twine bow and a button.
