Still trying to get the last few things sorted out from the holidays - tomorrow I'll buy waterproofing spray, re-waterproof our small tent and then I think everything will be tidied away for another year. So this was a quick card for Carla's very fun WTUI challenge which you will find HERE. I had originally planned quite a different card- but needed this for a co-worked who broke her ankle last week. She liked it .
Stamped and masked the chick, stamped the fence. Coloured with pencils and added to the base which was a birthday gift - I think they are DoCrafts. Used the SU banner punch to add a fishtail to the sentiment, and as Anne is one smart lady, I added a little bling, and some polka dots to the chicken's bandages.

Sabrina, your chick is so chic with her dotted bandages. I love the barbed wire fence and that great woodgrain bg. This is is adorable and I'm sure your friend loved it. Thanks for making this fun card for the challenge and inspiring us with your sample.

A super cute card. I love the Rubbernecker fence and the poor chicken that looks like he might have had a run of bad luck. The wood grain paper is perfect with your country scene.

Adorable card for your co-worker - I love that your chick is even wielding a cane as your friend may well be too! I like the bit of bling that calls attention to the sentiment and the old wood slats in the bg.

So glad a barbed wired fence is represented in the gallery today. They are the fences I grew up with the most.
