I created this card for last weeks Teapot Challenge (represent Independence or Canada Day) and the Mix-a-bility Challenge (silver & gold). I started with a piece of watercolor paper and added various shades of blue Brushos spritzed with water. Once dried, I added spackle through a stencil to create the fireworks. Once that was dry I went in and added a few silver Nuvo glitter drops. I covered the bottom portion of the card with a panel that I cut from the NY skyline die-namic from MFT. This card wasn't planned, it just sort of fell into place and I LOVE it! It's on it's way to the upper midwest USA for our monthly Tickle a Teapotter exchange...I hope the recipient loves it as much as I do. ;-)

I love this card! And I like the way it just happened. Some of the best cards do that! I am going to have to try the art paste or spackle and stencil thing.
