I love the way scrapbook artists use shapes in their designs...I had a hard time deciding which shape I wanted to use, but ended up with the circle because of this cool layout:
Sticking to my goal of using a circle - it's kind of funny that I used a square card as the frame of my circular die cut! Well, it's because the little girl I met was drawing beautiful pictures on tiny canvas note cards which were almost square in shape. She seemed to prefer blooming flowers...so I decided to watercolor the die cut florals so the card would have a reflection of her style too! I added the "Fun" because she was such a pleasure to chat with. I also did some very loose stitching to inspire her to add sewing to her arts - LOL. I really hope she likes it! BTW at around 6 years old (I think), she was proud to be able to count to 5 in Arabic! WOW)
I hope you like this playful design, and will join our challenge this week. Believe it or not we're being inspired by scrapbook pages of all things!

that's fun to see how the same inspiration can make 2 totally different cards, I like the water colored flowers and the stitching, and I like how you came to this idea

This is so sweet, AND fun! I'm totally taken by the way you watercolored the floral die cut; love the artsy, free-flow look of it. I have several of this style of floral die and struggle with how to apply color in a way that doesn't look dorky. Your card will be printed off and used by me for inspiration. TFS this delightful creation!

I echo Susy's comment re the way you coloured the die cut flowers! Love them against the airy circle! That tiny 'fun' sentiment looks great and really evokes a scrapbooking style of labelling. Great challenge today Audrie!
