This humorous birthday card features one of my favorite stamp sets. I had a hard time wrapping my head around the sketch until I flipped it and my brain let out a sigh of relief. I used watercolor pencils to color the animal images on the card front, inside, and envelope, then inked them with VersaMark and used clear embossing powder to make them thick and shiny. The background for the pig is simple watercolor wash - I resisted the urge to add flowers and birds, etc. as I felt it would detract from the star of the show. I also clear embossed the balloons. Inside is a cow holding a sign that reads 'Have a Moo-tiful Birthday.' I'm hoping this card will be acceptable for a 14 year old boy with a weird sense of humor. ;)

I agree with Anne: all 14 year olds are weird! This card is absolutely a hoot and you've done a fabulous job of choosing fun colors and papers to go with that hilarious celebrating pig : )
