CC638: this week's color challenge colors are Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and those were used to create this card.
WT638: last week's Ways to Use it challenge was to include pearls which seemed to be a natural with this card
MIX228: watercolored flowers. I have embossing powder, pigment ink, and dye ink on this card so hopefully it qualifies for the mix challenge.
I had some time to play this evening. First, I heat embossed the flowers and stems for the bouquet and watercolored them with the color challenge colors. I set that aside to dry. I then created my own dp for the background panel using the same stamp set. I envisioned the bouquet on vellum but decided it needed something to back it so I glued the vellum to blushing bride dp. After placing the bouquet on the vellum, I thought it needed something so added the spots with white craft ink. That panel is popped up on the card base and some of the flowers are popped up as well. I added some pearls and a bow and it was finished.
Thanks for looking!

This caught my eye immediately. Your soft coloring of the white embossed flowers is beautiful. Love the look of the vellum and your stamped background paper.

I really like your individual watercolored flowers ...so creative! And the "make your own" bg paper looks so pretty and of course perfectly matches the bouquet flowers. The vellum is awesome, too (I forget to use that)
