I decided to attempt a pinwheel card and it turned out I went about it the hard way! I later found directions for a much easier way, but I cut out 8 squares of solid blue paper and then 4 squares of each of two different patterns slightly smaller and used tape runner to attach all of them together so I had 8 separate squares, then spent about 30 minutes arranging and rearranging them to get them into the pinwheel shape. Never again! Next time I will use the easier way shown here:
I finished the card by stamping the sentiment in brick red ink on a strip of cream colored card stock, then cutting it into a banner shape and attaching to card.
