A big congrats to Nathalie! She has an amazing gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I kept the toadstool theme & oval framing, but used different images, different colors & changed up the matting layers a little.
After stamping & coloring the image w/ Copics, I used Prismacolor pencils to soften the color blends then stamped over it again to bring back the details (pic of this on my blog showing the difference this makes). The greeting was Shadow Stamped then the framing layers were added on top.
Congrats again, Nathalie! It's on my blog w/ more pics: The Write Stuff

Wow, Julie! You are a master of coloring with copics! The various colors on the mushroom are striking and marvelous. The darling snail is also colored beautifully and it looks so peaceful resting on its mushroom. Magnificent card, my friend!! You did a wonderful job of honoring Nathalie's card!

Sweet! I ordered this stamp set last weekend, so I'm now waiting for its arrival... I love the recessed ovals - they frame the image so well! This one has to go into my favorites so I can remember your diecut layers method, which is brilliant! Thanks!
